About

I’m a retired California architect with a fine arts [oil painting] background.  Back in 2007, after chemo for multiple myeloma – a blood cancer similar to leukemia, I had a bone marrow transplant.  For those who don’t know the average survival after a BMT (meaning the time left before you die) was around 2 1/2 years; with current treatments the median survival has been increased to 5 to 7 years.  Please help those with cancer in any way you can.

So if I had my own brick & mortar gallery what would I want to put up on the walls?  This blog represents that idea.

This blog is for my use.  If you like it then let me know.  If you don’t then go away and bother somebody else.  But if you want to ask me something or just bitch me out privately here’s your chance.

  1. Hello there. Just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying your collection. I’ve lost touch with the art world, so it’s been great seeing all the images you’ve been posting. You have good taste (well, I guess taste is a subjective thing, now isn’t it.) Anyway, thanks.
